Words & Music for a Summer Evening in St Peter's Ark at 7:30pm (provisionally) on Saturday 8th July. Tickets £8, (children free), £4 for those actively taking part – pay at the door. A glass of wine/soft drink and nibbles are included in the price. Offers of help with catering to Rona, please.

The Bridge Church Food Bank is over-stocked and no more contributions will be needed until, probably, October. Donations of money will still be welcomed, however.

Bell Ringing We would love to hear from anyone interested in ringing St Peter's bells for weddings. We currently practice on a Wednesday evening at aprrox. 7:15pm. For further details please contact Suzanne RUFF on 02392 464774 or email suzanne1066@hotmail.co.uk.

The Loop System has recently been serviced with a view to improving its effectiveness. Any hearing aid users who feel the system is not working satisfactorily should report the fact to the churchwardens.

Oxfam will take all books including Bibles and religious books. Southsea Oxfam, at 62 Osborne Road (Tel: 02392 817131), have a particular need for Bibles.

Pennie & Michael Payne have started to worship at St Marks, North End, Portsea and will be moving from Hayling later this year. If you would like to make a contribution to mark their many years of support and service at St Mary's please see one of the churchwardens.

Plastic knitting needles. If you have any spare knitting needles – they must be plastic – please give them to David SALT by 16 July.

St Peter's Weekend Quiet Day has been postponed to a date to be decided.

St Peter's Patronal Service will be held at 9:15am on Sunday 25th June as a prelude to an Open Day (there will be normal services at St Mary's and St Andrew's).

From 12 noon to 4:pm there will be a Garden Party and Lunch at “The Meadows”, St Peter's Road (by kind invitation of Coleen JACKSON and Lesley SHAYLER). Tickets: £5 to include lunch, tea, coffee, soft drinks, strawberries, cream and ice cream. Bring your own alcoholic drinks (Pimms will be availale). Disabled parking only on site - please book in advance.

There will be an Iona style healing service at 6:30pm at St Andrew's on Sunday 25th June. This will be an informal service with prayers for healing for individuals and the world.
